Mental Health Support

We often describe feeling “stressed out” as running on coffee fumes, that buzzed-out feeling that we have too much to do and not enough time. But it can also leave us feeling burned out, isolated and depressed. Stress can affect your health, triggering a wide array of physical and mental health challenges.

At Lakeside Natural Health, we work to provide you with the tools and support you need to feel your best - body, mind and spirit. In order to effectively manage stress, we help you address the root causes in all areas of your life, not just band-aid your symptoms.

Social Work

Social work, or counselling, is talk-based therapy with a trained professional who helps care for your mental and emotional health. We offer client-centred care that focuses on providing insights into your specific causes of stress and developing a personalized treatment approach. Our social worker is trained in CBT, DBT, mindfulness and other modalities and has successfully supported people coping with anxiety, low mood depression, suicidal ideation, substance use difficulties, trauma and PTSD.

Naturopathic Medicine

We know that stress and mental health challenges are complex. Naturopathic medicine supports mental wellness by treating not only the mind, but the body and spirit as well. Through blood work analysis, diet and lifestyle coaching, sleep optimization, empowered goal setting and more, our naturopathic doctors work to remove roadblocks that may be holding patients back from living the life they have envisioned for themselves.  Our naturopathic doctors provide a safe space where patients are gently supported in rebuilding their mental and physical resiliency against various life stressors.
