Jen Bondoc, MACP, B.Ed, B.A., Registered Psychotherapist

Jen provides one-on-one counselling and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults seeking healing, insight, and meaningful change.

You may feel stuck in patterns shaped by earlier experiences — childhood wounds, complicated relationships, infertility or pregnancy loss, postpartum changes, grief, or the lasting impact of narcissistic or emotionally abusive dynamics. Perhaps you’re high-functioning on the outside but carrying a lot internally. Whatever brings you here, you’ll find a calm, steady space to explore what’s been weighing on you and move toward greater clarity and emotional resilience.

Her work is trauma-informed, relational, and individualized. Jen believes healing happens in safe connection — where you feel heard, understood, and not rushed. With a background in education and family studies, she brings a thoughtful understanding of development, parenting, identity shifts, and life transitions into the therapy room.

She also supports clients experiencing burnout — the quiet exhaustion that can come from constantly holding it all together. Together, you’ll slow down, untangle the pressure you’re carrying, and reconnect with your own needs, while exploring the deeper patterns that may be keeping you in overdrive.

Jen is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that helps the brain process distressing experiences so they feel less overwhelming and defining. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, painful relationship patterns, and deeply rooted negative beliefs.

She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jen travelled extensively, and taught for nearly a decade in private and public schools in Canada and the United States. Living and working abroad earlier in her career deepened her respect for cultural diversity and her belief that every person’s story deserves curiosity and care.

Outside of her work, she prioritizes time with her family, stays involved in her community, and unapologetically loves a good nap.
